Inside the Lab

This is a by-product of my frustration over the mediocrity of the people that I have to work with in a medical laboratory. Today was what I would consider the final straw. A nurse questioned the result I personally reported as "cutaneous flora." This personnel claimed that that is "french" to them. I know I used a technical terminology for "normal skin bugs," but I expected people in that position to be able to understand it. This is very funny and scary (when I say funny I mean scary), because if they don't understand this simple medical term what else are they misunderstanding in their jobs? So, I have decided to journal my minor frustrations, hopefully in a regular basis. For today .... END SCENE.
